DJ Slimshaky

Bio:

DJ Slimshaky (Brandon Green) is the founder and owner of BG Radio Network (BGRN). He started doing his own online radio shows sometime in 2008 at the age of 11 where he would discuss sports. Sometime around 2011 he made the transition to doing music shows and the modern day BGRN was born. Today, DJ Slimshaky continues to DJ his weekly 4-hour music show called The DJ Slimshaky Show, where he not only plays music and chats with the audience, but also hosts interactive games for the audience such as Trivia and Name That Tune. He also hosts the Gaming With Brandon show on the BGRN Gaming channel where he does casual gaming live streams fairly regularly, as well as uploads videos to the BGRN Gaming YouTube Channel where folks can watch shortened and edited recordings from the gaming streams.

In addition to his music and gaming shows, DJ Slimshaky also handles a variety of other tasks and duties related to BGRN. He helps actively maintain and grow the network’s social media presence by posting regularly and creating promotional slides and material that are used both on air and on social media. He also maintains the BG Radio Network YouTube Channel where he uploads clips and recordings of shows so that they can be enjoyed for years to come.

DJ Slimshaky is also a programmer, web developer and IT Technician. He graduated with his undergraduate degree in computer science in May of 2023. He uses his love and skill for programming to develop and maintain the BGRN Website, as well as to develop custom software and tools that help improve the viewership experience for all of our listeners and fans. With the help of his programming knowledge and skills, BGRN hopes to become one of the most technologically driven online radio and entertainment networks in the future.
