DJ Josh

Bio:

DJ Josh is a devote Christian from Alberta, Canada who joined BG Radio Network as a DJ in October of 2020. Josh hosts The DJ Josh Show which airs live weekly on BGRN. During the show Josh plays music and music videos from a variety of genres and eras, with a heavy emphasis on contemporary Christian music. He is a huge fan of American contemporary Christian music artist TobyMac and always plays at least a couple of his songs during shows. In addition to playing Christian music, he also plays a lot of heavy metal and rock music during his shows. Josh also brings a unique and fun experience to his viewers through his trademark “Royal Slap” and “Royal Wave”, which he came up with many years ago and has been a staple of his shows and BGRN ever since. Josh’s shows are always a mix of fun and relaxation all mashed into one, so be sure to tune in to his shows every week.

When he isn’t DJing and doing music shows, he likes to attend his local church service, hang out with his family and watch his favorite movies and tv shows while relaxing. Some of Josh’s favorite movies include the X-Men movies, the Fast & The Furious franchise and the Mission Impossible movies. He also likes to collect baseball and basketball cards. Josh also has a pretty solid collection of TobyMac posters and merchandise which is on full display during his shows. Overall, Josh is just a laid back, fun, TobyMac loving guy.
